My heart is overwhelmed with thankfulness to the almighty, as Sacred Heart college of Arts and Science, Perani enters into the third year of its inception, Realizing the vision of our Foundress, Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima, the college is the brainchild of the CSSTs, a stoic venture to expand the frontiers of educational service to the marginalized, beyond narrow, dogmatic confines, to the society at large. Infusing the CSST spirit with the curriculum, the College aims at building holistic individuals filled with humanity to build a world of peaceful co existence imperative of the hour.

On the side of the management a definite, concrete target is fixed for the collective advancement of the college with periodical analysis, new courses, new vistas for personal and community growth which are envisaged and meticulously followed giving maximum opportunities for development, apart from the regular agenda. Special impetus is given for value education and character formation. The present state of the world, the social scenario, environmental degradation, poverty, unemployment, deceases economic and class consciousness are brought to the students for their part of awareness and positive action for change. The management and staff together impart education for shaping citizens of the democracy and the world.

The vision of our Foundress will be our vision in extending God’s empire of peace and harmony, of goodwill and humaneness and thus will create a beautiful heaven on earth. May our vision and our aspiration be blessed by God!
