Welcome to History Department

Established in 2019, the department of history is one of the academic Departments of our College. It is a composite department teaching varied courses in Indian History, Tamilnadu History and World History giving emphasis to emerging areas like social History, intellectual History and subaltern History. It has chosen to give emphasis to history of Tamilnadu. Present faculty is engaged in the various aspects of Tamilnadu History ranging from Ancient to Modern.
